Robert Lewandowski is not happy about his three match ban for Barcelona. The Polish striker spoke at the World Cup in a Poland press conference ahead of their clash with Mexico.
“An excessive punishment, too severe, it’s too large,” complained Lewandowski.
“(The gesture) was not for the referee it was for the coach, everyone knows it, because it was in his direction and not the referee’s.
“I don’t think the committee in Madrid has sanctioned me because they are important games for Barcelona against Espanyol and Atletico, I just think the punishment is too high. I’m confident Barca will be able to change the situation.”
