Manchester United are reportedly set to battle it out with Liverpool for the services of Borussia Dortmund youngster Youssoufa Moukoko this January.
Despite being just 17 years of age, the centre-forward has enjoyed a good season so far with the Bundesliga club. Moukoko has notched six goals and six assists in his 21 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
According to Sport Bild, United and Liverpool are both watching the striker intently with the January transfer window around the corner. So far, Moukoko has only played for Germany’s U21s but, after scoring a brace against VfL Bochum at the weekend, the German media have been calling for him to join their World Cup squad.
The Cameroon-born striker has been well-liked at Dortmund for quite some time now and he made headlines when at the age of 13 he made his debut for the Bundesliga side’s U17s. Elsewhere, Erik ten Hag and Jurgen Klopp are reportedly interested in another wonderkid, this time from Sporting Lisbon.
Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is believed to have caught the eye of the two Premier League heavyweights, according to Portuguese outlet O Jojo. So far, Issahaku has made six appearances for Sporting this campaign including two in the Champions League.
Everton are also reportedly watching the player closely and all three sides will reportedly be keeping a keen eye on the forward at the World Cup. Issahaku has made 13 appearances for his national team since making his first team debut in October last year.
