Manchester United are reportedly ‘keeping close tabs’ on Leeds United star Tyler Adams.
United chief John Murtough has already made it clear that the club are not planning to spend big in January but that hasn’t prevented them from being linked with a wide range of players. It would make sense if Erik ten Hag wanted to add a striker to his ranks considering his problems with Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Martial’s rotten luck with injury.
However, midfield looks to be one of the positions that needs no strengthening at all. United brought in Christian Eriksen and Casemiro in the summer to add to their arsenal which already included Bruno Fernandes, Fred, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek.
However, according to Football Insider, Leeds’ Adams is generating interest. It’s reported that United have admired the American international since he broke out at RB Leipzig and are continuing to monitor his progress in Yorkshire. Adams has enjoyed a good start to life in the Premier, proving to be a good interceptor and tackler, despite Leeds’ struggles.
Meanwhile, Brazilian youngster Endrick already looks as though he will be the next big thing in world football and with that comes links with the world’s biggest clubs regardless of how young he is,
The 16-year-old made history on Tuesday night when he became Palmeiras‘ youngest first-team goalscorer in the club’s history.
He is one of the most talked about teenagers in the game and CaughtOffside is already suggesting United will rival Real Madrid to try and sign him when he turns 18.
