Paul Pogba has returned to training following his latest knee injury as he looks set to finally make his second debut for Juventus.
The former Manchester United player moved back to Juventus in the summer but has yet to make his return to football following knee surgery during pre-season.
This will come as welcome news for the Italian club who are struggling for points so far this term.
The 29-year-old returned back to Juventus this summer following an underwhelming big money move to Manchester United in 2016.
The France midfielder struggled to find consistency for the Red Devils during his six years with the club and must have been hoping that a move back to Italy saw a change in form.
However, upon his arrival Pogba was instantly struck by a knee injury and has yet to grace the pitch.
Pogba’s return has come at a good time for the Old Lady as they look to bounce back from their dismal start to the season.
Juventus currently find themselves in an unfamiliar position of eighth in the Serie A table with just four wins from their opening ten games.
France fans will also be delighted that Pogba has returned to football as France look to defend their World Cup title.
France boss Didier Deschamps is already without N’Golo Kante after he suffered an injury and will be pleased to see Pogba is back training.
Having Pogba back fit gives Deschamps more options in midfield – if the player can return to full fitness by the time the World Cup starts.
Juventus and France fans will be keeping an eye on the player’s fitness and hoping Pogba is able to make it to the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
