Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was delighted with the attitude of his players for victory over Salernitana.
The 3-2 win saw Inter’s players arguing with eachother at a key moment.
Inzaghi said, “The boys talked to each other, I still have what I see on the pitch and in training. Today we had a great game, in control from the first to the ninety-third, a game played with seriousness, concentration, two and a half days after the match in Barcelona. I’m satisfied, but now we have another Saturday and we’ll be thinking about Fiorentina from tomorrow morning.
“I can distinguish criticisms made in the right way and those addressed by others. Nothing bothered me, I have always been focused on my work, focused on my team, I know what they did, what they showed, how they played and what they have won in these 15 months. We are Inter.
“I think the attitude is fundamental, I think you have noticed it too: the team is on the pitch and in difficulties it has the right spirit. It changes everything, at the first ball you do not concede a goal as it happened in the first few games. It’s nice to see the team in control, we could also score a few more goals: let’s not forget that we came from a double confrontation with Barcelona, with Sassuolo in the middle, we must applaud these players.”
