Max Allegri

Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved would be interested in potentially sacking Max Allegri but there are divides in the club’s management regarding the manager’s situation.

Corriere della Sera have reported about the future of Allegri, claiming that while Nedved and some other members of the club’s executive body would be interested in the Italian’s exit, Andrea Agnelli wants the current boss to stay at the Bianconeri.

In a meeting, Nedved had strongly raised the idea of Allegri’s sacking. But CEO Maurizio Arrivebene looked at things from a financial perspective and ruled out that idea. Agnelli followed suit, as the Bianconeri would have to pay a hefty amount to sack Allegri.

Agnelli even had a phone call with Allegri recently and reiterated to him that he will stay at the club, but Agnelli is said to be monitoring the situation closely. The club’s shareholder’s meeting takes place in October and the club is running in losses, making it a key reason for Allegri’s stay.
