According to L’Équipe Lens manager Frank Haise is keeping his side down-to-earth, even if his side could be set for their best ever start in France’s top tier if they win against Reims this afternoon.
Whilst speaking in a press conference on Friday, the Frenchman said the following about Lens’ blistering start to the season:
“We are very happy with what is being put in place, It is a construction spread over several years. It has allowed us to expand our staff, improve our infrastructure, our recruitment unit, our communication with the arrival of Benjamin Parrot. The club is trying to evolve at all levels. To offer as many good matches as possible. Without setting any limits. But don’t worry, we will lose. I don’t know when, but it will happen. And maybe you’ll look at us a little less. We’re trying to be as consistent as possible, to keep performing well. The fear of defeat doesn’t help us. We want to play, keep our principles and have as much fun as possible. Even if the press is less behind us.”
