Atletico Madrid is pushing to sign Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Pablo Sarabia on a loan deal with an option to buy, according to a report from RMC Sport.
The report further adds that Atletico Madrid has already established contact with PSG for the possibility of bringing back Sarabia to La Liga. More so, the Spanish international is “not expected” to stay put at PSG.
Sarabia spent the past season at Sporting CP on a one-season loan deal. He went on to up his transfer value after a season in which he emerged as a reliable playmaker for the Portuguese side, which included logging 21 total goal contributions in 29 matches played in Primeira Liga.
Sarabia then went on to chip in with two goals and one assist over the Spain national team’s opening four matches of its UEFA Nations League group stage schedule.
As it stands, Sarabia has two more seasons remaining on his contract at PSG.
