Barcelona wonder kid Gavi made history after scoring in Spain’s 2-2 draw against the Czech Republic in the Nations League on Sunday.

The Czech Republic’s opening strike was the fastest conceded by Luis Enrique’s side in his 39 matches at the helm but Gavi leveled matters at the stroke of halftime to become Spain’s youngster ever goalscorer at 17 years and 304 days.

The previous record-holder was Barca teammate Ansu Fati, who scored against Ukraine in Valdebebas at 17 years and 311 days.

The teenage midfielder is used to setting records with the Spanish national side. In October of last year, he becomes the youngest player ever to play for Spain at 17 years and 62 days, beating the record set by Ángel Zubieta back in 1936.
