Napoli and Juventus both sealed their slots in next season’s Champions League thanks to victories at the weekend and AS Roma’s failure to do better than a goalless draw at home with Bologna on Sunday.
Third-placed Napoli have 70 points with three games to go after thrashing Sassuolo 6-1 at home while Juve have 69 thanks to a 2-1 win over bottom side Venezia in Turin.
Fifth-placed Roma have 59 points and can no longer catch either to finish in the top four.
AC Milan remain two points clear at the top of Serie A thanks to a 1-0 win over Fiorentina at San Siro.
Second-placed Inter won 2-1 at Udinese.
