Sergio Ramos apparently has no intention of leaving the club this summer.
The former Real Madrid player has experienced a disastrous debut season at Parc des Princes, making only five appearances across all competitions due to injuries.
Leonardo, the club’s sporting director, has conceded that the 36-year-hiring old’s was a “mistake,” and he is expected to leave the French capital after just one season.
Ramos, however, according to RMC Sport, is not going to leave Mauricio Pochettino’s side this summer, with the Spaniard motivated to establish himself following a tough debut campaign.
Ramos is under contract with the Ligue 1 leaders until 2023, and the article notes that the center-“leadership back’s and dedication” are vital in the dressing room.
Ramos is thought to have trained with the club on Saturday and so has a chance to make his Ligue 1 comeback against Lorient on Sunday.
