Manchester United will be going all out to sign England captain Harry Kane in the summer.
United was one of the teams interested in the player last summer but a deal couldn’t be agreed owing to Spurs’ valuation on the player according to The Athletic, the English giants will be returning for the player this summer.
United couldn’t afford the money asked by Spurs as they had signed Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and felt that the player was above their budget in that window.
According to the reports, Spurs will be expecting nothing less than £100million for Kane who has previously expressed his desire to leave the club as he wants to win trophies; Manchester City being the other club said to be keen on the player.
Kane has a contract with Tottenham until 2024 but rejected the offer of a new deal from the north London club earlier this season according to the reports.
United is in the market for a proven striker owing to the imminent departure of Edinson Cavani is who said to be on his way back to South America. Other strikers in Anthony Martial, who is on loan at Sevilla, and Marcus Rashford have fired blanks and are not considered good enough to lead a title charge.
