Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes is set to sign a five-year contract keeping him at Old Trafford until 2027.
According to reports, Fernandes who has been in talks with United has reached an agreement to extend his stay. Journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed the deal has been agreed upon by all parties, with just the paperwork set to be completed.
The Portuguese signed for United in January 2020 from Sporting CP and has become a key player for the Red Devils. The midfielder’s weekly salary is set to be doubled, shifting to £240,000 a week.
The 27-year-old signed an initial deal of a five-and-a-half contract with the option of a further 12 months but the club has decided to extend his stay until the summer of 2027.
