Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick for Man United against Tottenham was only the third for the club since 2013.

It was also the Portuguese international’s second in the famous red shirt, having achieved a similar feat during his first stint against Newcastle.

In total, there have been 35 hat-tricks for the Reds in the Premier League, with two of those five five-goal hauls (Andy Cole versus Ipswich Town and Dimitar Berbatov against Blackburn Rovers).

There have also been four-goal hauls; (Ole Gunnar Solskjaer v Nottingham Forest and Everton, Cole v Newcastle United and Wayne Rooney v Hull City).

Who has scored the highest?

Wayne Rooney, the club’s all-time goalscorer, scored six during his trophy-laden years at the club.

The England international is one ahead of yet another readily poacher the Premier League has ever seen in the name of Ruud van Nistelrooy.
