Gareth Southgate

Gareth Southgate has called up four more players to the England national team following the withdrawals of a number of stars.

Crystal Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell has been called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the first time in his career.

The defender is joined by Kyle Walker-Peters, Sam Johnstone, and Ollie Watkins ahead of the two international friendlies against Switzerland and Ivory coast, both at Wembley.

The changes are as a result of Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Reece James (Chelsea) and Tammy Abraham (Roma) pulling out through injury.

Here is the updated team;

The Three Lions will face Switzerland on Saturday and then Ivory Coast on Tuesday.
