Barcelona defender Eric Garcia mocked Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior following their 4-0 win over their hosts on Sunday.
The win saw Barca end their five-game winless streak against their arch-rivals and the game wasn’t short of drama from start to finish with Garcia and Junior having a row at the end of the game.
Garcia reportedly jeered the Brazilian star over his performance on the night. amid claims of diving, as his goal-scoring streak in 2021/22 stopped.
According to Marca, Garcia told Vinicius: “You next year for the Ballon d’Or, yes, the Ballon d’Or.”

Xavi’s side dominated from the off in Madrid with former Arsenal man as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being named the man of the match after scoring a double in the tie. Barca’s other goals were scored by Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres.
