Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has issued a statement following Tuesday night’s confrontation with a number of fans.
In a video that has surfaced online, a number of fans are heard hurling insults at the England international, who was at some point restrained as he confronted them.

In a Twitter post, Rashford sought to explain the occurrence, saying ‘there are always two sides to a story’.
The striker goes on to detail the tough times he has gone through in recent months, including being heckled and abused.
