Laliga giants FC Barcelona have officially announced Spotify as their sponsor for next season.

The Swedish music-streaming platform has signed a long-term agreement with the club which says that their name will appear on the front of both the men’s and women’s kits for the next four seasons.

The sponsorship also sees the rebranding of the Camp Nou, which will be called “Spotify Camp Nou” starting from next season.

In a statement, Barca said: “FC Barcelona and Spotify seal a strategic long-term partnership in sports and entertainment

“The platform’s company name will appear on the front of both Men’s and Women’s team shirts and training kits. For the first time, the global audio streaming platform becomes Title Partner of the Stadium, which will be rebranded as Spotify Camp Nou.”

The amounts behind the deal have not officially been announced but according to Carrusel Deportivo, the shirt sponsorship deal alone will be worth around €280million, averaging out at €70million per season.

Barca has had a shirt sponsor with Rakuten in recent years but the deal is set to come to an end this season.
