Mohamed Salah is a concern for Wednesday’s pivotal Premier League match against Arsenal after picking up an injury during Liverpool’s win over Brighton.

After scoring in the comfortable win over Brighton, the Egyptian attacker was substituted off with an apparent foot injury, although many believed it was a precautionary substitution rather than anything severe.

Salah, though, has been absent from training on Monday, raising major questions over his availability for Wednesday’s trip to the Emirates Stadium to play high-flying Arsenal.

Salah’s injury could not have come at a worse moment for Liverpool, who are locked in a championship fight with Manchester City and are ready to face one of England’s most in-form sides.

The Gunners have won their past five games and will provide one of the most difficult tests of Jurgen Klopp’s side thus far in the 2021/22 seasons.
