Christian Eriksen has been recalled to the Denmark national team squad for the first time since his collapse in Euro 2020 last summer.
Denmark will play two friendlies, against Netherlands and Serbia, having already claimed their place at this year’s World Cup.
Eriksen is returning to first-team football after Inter Milan and the Serie A didn’t give him a chance to play in the first half of the season since he has a defibrillator in his heart.

The midfielder has only just returned to club football in recent weeks after signing for Brentford at the start of the year. While he had featured for the cub’s youth team, he has only two appearances for the first team and recorded his first assist in last weekend’s win over Burnley.
