Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has admitted that he messed up leaving Liverpool for PSG last summer.
The player has found games hard to come by in France after joining the moneybags last summer as a free agent and there are questions lingering if Netherlands head coach Louis van Gaal will hand him a call up to the national team for their 2022 World Cup campaign.
L’Equipe reports that Wijnaldum and PSG both acknowledge it’s a move that hasn’t worked out for both parties as the Ligue 1 side plan to sell him this summer as they consider him a surplus to requirements.

The Dutch midfielder was a standout performer for Liverpool where he helped them to several titles but left Anfield as he felt that the deal that he was being offered didn’t match his standards.
The player said in October that he was “not completely happy” in Paris due to his lack of playing time and there is a belief that his agent is already drawing plans of getting him a new club.
