The defender has now played 60 Premier League home games without defeat, a new top-flight record.
Since moving from Southampton in 2018, Van Dijk has never lost a single match at Anfield, winning 52 and drawing eight.

He beat Lee Sharpe’s record, who played 59 league matches without defeat at Old Trafford for Man United for four seasons.
Sadio Mane scored the Reds’ only goal of the match in the first half for a seven successive win for Jurgen Klopp’s team.
The win saw them move to within three points of leaders Man City, who play neighbours Man United on Sunday evening.
