Huddersfield continued with their unbeaten run in the English Championship as they beat Peterborough United 3-0 on Friday night.

Danel Sinani opened the scoring for Huddersfield after just three minutes of play before defender Tom Lees made it 2-0 for the hosts with a header inside six minutes of playing, netting his sixth of the season so far.

In the second half, Tom Lees completed his brace to ensure his side move a point ahead of third-placed Bournemouth, although they have now played five games more than the Cherries.

In the other match played on Friday, Sheffield United were held to a 1-1 draw by Nottingham Forest. Billy Sharp’s second-half goal was canceled out by Ryan Yates in the stoppage time as the pair shared spoils.

Fulham are still on top of the table with 70 points, eight above second-placed Huddersfield. Meanwhile, Peterborough are rooted at the bottom of the table with just 21 points picked from 34 matches.
