Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has opened up on his team’s chances of winning the quadruple.

The Reds have already won the EFL Cup after seeing off Chelsea last Sunday and with the team looking to be rejuvenated, there have been talks of the club being able to win four trophies this season.

While Klopp admitted they were proud to be thought of in the same light, he admitted that they will be facing sterner tests in achieving the feat.

“No team has ever won it. It’s not that we are even close to it. We have won the Carabao Cup, we are behind City in the league and now we have Norwich in the FA Cup after 120 minutes on Sunday.

“I don’t see it as a compliment but it’s better people think we can do good things rather than be useless. We face a lot of good teams between now and the end of May. The reality is to win something you have to be focused on the next step and not the one after that. That’s what we do,” Klopp said on Tuesday.

The Reds will be up against Norwich City in the FA Cup on Wednesday.
