The England national team has been urged to move for Manchester United youngster Anthony Elanga.
Elanga has been a revelation for United this season and while he has represented Sweden at junior levels, there is a belief that England can still convince him to change his national team allegiance.
The player also qualifies to play for Cameroon as his dad Joseph was a left-back at France ’98 with the Lions.
United signed him as a 12-year-old after he moved to Manchester and played for Tameside club Hattersley having started out at Malmo and the player has lived in England long enough to be eligible for the Three Lions.

Elanga was given his Manchester United debut at the end of the 2020-21 season by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has become a regular in Ralf Rangnick’s first-team plans of late.
He has appeared in 13 of the last 16 matches, principally as an impact substitute.
