Manchester United are still quite inconsistent since the day Sir Alex Ferguson left Old Trafford. The only consistency has been discussions and ideas on what the club needs.
Although there is a sense of achievement felt after Wednesday’s 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, the fact still remains that United are below Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
Chatting on BT after the Atletico game about what the Red Devils need, Michael Owen said it is everything but a change of manager.
However, it was Rio Ferdinand who offered a brilliant point that will inspire United fans. Ferdinand said the club simply needs a STRONG manager. Somebody like Sir Alex who controlled and influenced the entire club from the bottom to the top. This also sounds like Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola and Thomas Tuchel.
“I’m left scratching my head after every single game…”
Is simply finding the right manager the answer for Man Utd? 🤔@rioferdy5 and @themichaelowen talk through how to restore the club to its former glory… 🔴#UCLTONIGHT pic.twitter.com/3ghYnIOJFq
