The Champions League finals which is set to be held at St could be moved from Russia due to the Ukraine invasion.
EUFA has called an extraordinary meeting in a bid to decide on whether or not to move the Champions League final from Russia.
“Following the evolution of the situation between Russia and Ukraine in the last 24 hours, the UEFA President has decided to call an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee for Friday 25 February at 10:00 CET, in order to evaluate the situation and take all necessary decisions,” a statement from UEFA read.
“Further communication will be made after the meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee.”
St. Petersburg could be stripped of the right to host the final but UEFA needs tome to name a new venue for the final.
