Mohamed Salah have moved up to ninth on Liverpool’s all-time top scorers’ list. 

The Egyptian scored a brace on Wednesday night as the Reds thumped Leeds United 6-0 to move within three points of league leaders Man City.

The brace, from the penalty spot, took Salah’s total to 152 goals in all competitions while in a Liverpool shirt.

Those strikes also saw him overtake Harry Chambers on the Reds’ historic scoring chart.

It was Salah’s 234th appearance for Jürgen Klopp’s side, following his arrival from AS Roma in the summer of 2017.

He has now set sights on another of the club’s legend Michael Owen, who managed 158 goals during his time in Merseyside.
