Paris Saint Germain forward Neymar is open to playing in the Major Socer League.
The Brazilian’s contract at the French club runs out in 2025, and he says he will love to experience life in North America.
“I don’t know if I’ll play in Brazil again, as I have some doubts about that,” Neymar said on the Fenomenos podcast.
“I’d love to play in the US actually. I’d love to play there at least for a season.”
Asked further why he would love to play in the US, the former Barcelona star joked its because of their shorter seasons.
“First of all, their season is shorter, so I’d get three months’ vacation,” he said.
Neymar has three years left on his contract with PSG, and he says he is willing to see it out.
Paris Saint-Germain signed Neymar in 2017 in a mega-deal worth €222 but failed to live up to the high expectations, which included leading them to Champions League glory.
