When further pressed to say whether or not he will feature against Villa, United’s number 7 said;
“I hope so. We will try on Thursday. I will try to train as normal. Let’s see how the body reacts.
“Fingers crossed. I’m confident.”
United lost 1-0 to Wolves in their last Premier League clash at Old Trafford and will be gunning to get back to winning ways.
They will however miss the services of r Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay, who are both suspended for the match.
Villa, on the other hand, will be missing John McGinn, who is also banned, but could hand debuts to new signings Lucas Digne and Philippe Coutinho.
