Chelsea have recalled Kenedy from his loan spell at Flamengo.
The Brazilian has been in his country for the last five months, during which he made 18 appearances at the Maracana, scoring one goal.
He was part of the Flamengo team that lost in the Copa Libertadores final to Palmeiras in November.
Prior to his time at Flamengo, Kenedy spent two years in La Liga, first with Getafe and then Granada.
He joined Chelsea in 2015 from Flamengo’s great rivals Fluminense and featured under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink in his first season.
In total, the Brazilian played 20 times under Mourinho and Hiddink, scoring twice.
He has also had loan spells at Watford and Newcastle, and it’s not clear whether or not he will go out on loan.
