The Africa Cup of Nations tournament entered matchday two on Thursday evening with two Group A matches.

The tournament has been marred with goal drought, with only 12 goals scored in matchday one.

There’s however hope that it will all change if the start of matchday two is anything to go by.

Hosts Cameroon thumped Ethiopia 4-1 in what is the highest-scoring match of the tournament so far.

Captain Vincent Aboubakar scored his second brace of the tournament, and he is now clear at the top of the scoring charts with four goals from two matches.

Aboubakar is joined by his teammate, Karl Ekambi, who also scored a brace in the 4-1 demolition of Ethiopia as the only two players with two or more goals.

Here is the list of all scorers so far;
