Everybody can agree that Manchester United need players more than any of the top six clubs in England. It’s no surprise they’re linked with these five players below.
The January transfer window began with only the smaller Premier League clubs making signings so far. All eyes are now on the bigger boys to complete new business, especially the struggling Red Devils of Manchester United.
So who are they reportedly targeting to sign?
With central midfield, the biggest area that needs attention, United’s biggest target has emerged as Wolves’ Ruben Neves.
Another midfield target has been identified as Ralf Rangnick’s former player at RB Leipzig:
Other targets are the two Argentian strikers Julian Alvarez of River Plate and Mauro Icardi of Paris Saint-Germain.
The defensive targets are Dan-Axel Zagadou of Borussia Dortmund and a somewhat of a daring interest in Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger.
