Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has sent an apology to the club’s fans following his recent controversial comments.
The Belgian was frozen out of the team as they hosted Liverpool in an English Premier League match last week on Sunday, following an interview on Sky Italia.
In the interview, Lukaku seemed to question his role in the team as well as coach Thomas Tuchel’s current playing system.
He also revisited his time at Inter Milan, saying he will one day return while he was in his prime.
Lukaku has since sent an apology to the club, following a meeting with Tuchel and the club’s board.
A message from Romelu.
