Emile Smith Rowe equaled a Premier League club record set by Tomas Rosicky during Arsenal’s Boxing Day 5-0 thrashing of Norwich City.
In recent weeks, the England international has lost his starting spot in favor of Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Alexandre Lacazette in the final third.
Smith Rowe has, however, had a consistent impact from the bench, scoring nine minutes after coming on at Carrow Road.
As a result, the attacker has now scored three Premier League goals in a row as a substitute for the Gunners, becoming only the second Arsenal player to accomplish that feat.
Rosicky, dubbed ‘The Little Mozart’ by Arsenal supporters, first did so in September 2009, with Smith Rowe following suit against Norwich, Leeds United, and West Ham United.
The 21-year-old now has eight Premier League goals from 17 games this season, while Bukayo Saka, Kieran Tierney, and Lacazette also scored against Norwich.
