Manchester United are set to welcome defender Raphael Varane to full training next week.
Varane has been out for more than a month now after injuring his hamstring against Atalanta in the Champions League group stages but despite being fit, the club doesn’t want to rush him back to action.
Recently postponed games gave him a chance to get back without missing additional matches and according to the Manchester Evening News, he is expected to return to training on December 27th and could be available for United games soon after that date.

The return of Varane will be a boost for United who are doing all they can to keep pace with the leading pack but it is unclear who will be relegated to the bench after some good outing from both Victor Lindelof and captain Harry Maguire.
Should he return, Varane will be playing his first games under Ralf Rangnik with the German keen to turn United into a winning team once again as he lays the foundation for whoever will be appointed in the summer.
