Tottenham Hotspur team returned to training on Sunday as they seek to return to action following a ten daybreak.
Spurs’ last game came against Norwich on December 5 with their fixtures against both Rennes and Brighton being postponed after they were badly hit by a COVID-19 outbreak over the last week.
The Daily Mail report that Conte called his players back in for training on Sunday and put the players through a double session.
However, the buildings at the club’s Enfield headquarters remain closed and the squad immediately returned home after training was finished.
EXC: Tottenham returned to training today and Antonio Conte wasted no time – putting his players through a double session. Looking increasingly likely Leicester game should be okay. https://t.co/ZgU58GVZJX

The Premier League and Health Security Agency approved Spurs’ return to training but the club will continue to operate under ‘severe restrictions’ for the coming week.
The news is a positive one for the league with the club’s clash against Leicester City now set to take place as earlier planned.
