Wilfried Ndidi

Laliga giants Real Madrid are monitoring the progress of midfielder Wilfried Ndidi at Leicester City.

While Madrid is one of the most in-form teams in Europe, the average age of their midfielders is something that worries them and they want younger players for continuity should the options they have moved or retire.

Luka Modric, Tony Kroos, and Casemiro are in the twilight of their career and according to Naija, Madrid sees Ndidi as a possible successor to the latter or a player who could rotate with the Brazilian for the next couple of seasons.

Still 25, Ndidi has also been linked with a move to Manchester United with the Ralf Rangnik side keen to add a defensive midfielder in their ranks this coming January.

The player will however not come cheap as he has a contract at the King Power Stadium until 2024.
