Chelsea FC defender Antonio Rudiger is destined to leave the club in the summer after holding talks with both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

The German is dragging in signing a new deal at the Bridge and might sign a pre-contract with any team next month should Chelsea fail to convince him to stay as his contract will be expiring in June.

The Independent reports exclusively that the defender has had “informal talks” with Real Madrid. and that there was also a meeting with Bayern Munich last week. The negotiations are being done by the player’s half-brother who doubles up as his agent.

The 28-year-old is said to have demanded a huge salary from Chelsea if he is to sign a new deal having been one of their most dependable player’s in the recent past. There were talks previously of a sale after being considered surplus to requirements but when he was given a chance, Rudiger has never looked back.

While Chelsea has options to cover the German should he leave, there have been reports that the London club might go back to Sevilla to lure Jule Kounde to come in as Rudiger’s replacement.
