Barcelona believes that winger Ousmane Dembele has signed a pre-contract deal with Thomas Tuchel as he seeks to leave the club.
The 24-year-old has been hesitant to sign a new deal at Camp Nou with Barca keen to offload him in January rather than to lose him for free in the summer.
Starting January, Dembele will be able to negotiate with clubs from abroad over a pre-contract agreement, and according to reports from El Chiringuito TV is reporting that the Blaugrana are suspecting that Dembele already has a secret agreement in place to join Chelsea, where he will be reuniting with his former Borussia Dortmund coach, Thomas Tuchel.
It is believed that he has some lucrative offer from Chelsea and other Premier League clubs, which is why the Frenchman is yet to commit his future to Barca.
Under Tuchel at Dortmund during the 2016/17 season, Dembele played some of his best football where he scored ten goals and 21 assists from 49 matches. It was this form that prompted Barcelona to shell out more than €100 million to sign him up in 2017.
It has been reported that Barcelona was set to meet with Dembele’s representatives and make a final contract offer worth €11 million per year (including bonuses) but the player is said to have made up his mind about leaving.
