Pochettino

Managers often calmly deny rumours like these before things suddenly change. But Mauricio Pochettino to Manchester United sounds impossible after his latest comments.

Pochettino has sounded very convincing that he is not interested in United, after all, he is managing some of the best players in the world in the French capital.

As reports have spread worldwide, the Paris Saint Germain boss has been linked with a move to Manchester United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s replacement.

It was thus expected of journalists to ask the Argentine about his comments on the rumours before PSG lost 2-1 to Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

“I am focused. I am very focused on football. I am not a child, I spend my whole life playing football, and now my 12th year being coach, we’re in a business that the rumours are there. I understand what is going on,” Pochettino told reporters on Tuesday, as per Sky Sports News.

“This kind of thing cannot distract. Rumours are there, we need to live with that.

“We are so focused, giving 100% to get our best from the club and the players.

“I am so happy at Paris Saint-Germain, for tomorrow we are so focused to get the best results we can,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, United’s caretaker boss Michael Carrick is preparing the side for the visit to Chelsea in West London this weekend.
