Aston Villa’s new manager Steven Gerrard has stamped his authority on the club’s eating menu.
The Liverpool icon joined the Villains a fortnight ago to replace the departed Dean Smith.
Gerrard did not take time to set a strict rule before going on to claim a 2-0 victory on his debut against a very good Brighton side last weekend.
The 41-year-old manager banned the eating of tomato sauce ketchup at the club.
“It was banned before I had seen it!” Gerrard said, as per the Express.
“The players have to have the right mentality. Go above and beyond. They need to strive to be elite.”
Coming up next for the Villians is the trip to London to face Crystal Palace.
