Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino has let out that Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are treated differently at the club.
The Argentine coach has said Messi, Mbappe and Neymar can’t really ever be substituted off the field during action.
Pochetinno’s comments specifically responded to questions on why the trio have remained regular starters despite a struggle to finally gel.
“They are the best in the world. Why take them off the pitch?” the PSG coach told L’Equipe.
“Even if they do not play as one expects, with their talent they can be decisive at any time. That is why the club made the financial effort it did to sign them.
“You cannot evaluate this type of footballer the same as others, because they are different,” he concluded.
In the meantime, the French giants are training for UEFA Champions League action against the mighty Manchester City in England.
