Arsenal have been handed a massive injury boost ahead of Liverpool clash with Thomas Partey fit and available for selection.
Partey wasn’t part of the team that beat Watford 1-0 just before the international break and didn’t link up with the Ghana team.
Midfielder Granit Xhaka is also recovering well from the knee injury he picked in September and is now back running outside and aims to be back to full training in January.
“Granit is continuing to make good progress in his recovery from a medial knee ligament injury sustained on September 26. Granit is now running outside with the current aim to be back in full training in January,” a statement from the medical team read.
“Sead sustained a significant injury to his left ankle playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina during the international period. Sead is now starting his rehabilitation back in the UK and continues to be assessed.”
Meanwhile, Liverpool will miss the services of Naby Keita, Joe Gomez, Harvey Elliott, and Curtis Jones who are all out, but Jordan Henderson is ‘hopeful’ of being fit.
