Following an injury layoff, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has returned to training with the Blues.
After injuring his ankle in their Champions League triumph over Malmo at the end of October, the Belgian, who returned to Stamford Bridge in the summer, has missed his side’s past five games in all competitions.
The forward has now been spotted in training over the international break, according to the Evening Standard.
Lukaku missed out on a call-up to the Red Devils team due to an injury, despite having 101 caps and 68 goals for Belgium at the start of the season.
The 28-year-old was bought back to London for a cost in the region of £100 million in the summer after spells with Everton, Manchester United, and Inter Milan, and he has four goals and an assist in 11 outings in a blue shirt this season.
Thomas Tuchel’s team will play Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday, although it is unclear whether Lukaku will be fit to play.
