Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp blamed the referee after West Ham ended their 25 game unbeaten run on Sunday.
The Reds slipped to a 3-2 defeat in a dramatic encounter with West Ham United at the London Stadium with the visitors enduring the worst possible opening after falling behind inside just four minutes following an own goal from Alisson.
There were questions about the first goal with Liverpool claiming that defender Angelo Ogbonna had fouled the Brazilian prior to the goal something that Klopp looked to have pointed out in his pos match comments.
“(The long unbeaten run coming to an end) is the least of my problems. However long a run is, it will come to an end. There are couple of things that happened during the game that are difficult to take. If you don’t take your chances you’re leaving things up to ref decisions,” Klopp said.
Asked which decisions he was not happy with, Klopp added: “It’s really interesting you ask that. I’m not sure I want to answer the question if you don’t know the situation I’m talking about. Do you not think (Alisson was impeded for the first goal)? Is your job not to have an opinion? Okay that’s nice.”
Klopp will be hoping to get things right when they return to action after the International break against Arsenal.
