Barcelona players have questioned the team’s medical staff over the consistent injury problems in recent times.

The club has struggled with injuries recently with a chunk of players consistently on the sidelines and according to Esport 3 via Tribuna, there has been tension between the playing squad and the physiotherapists at the club concerning the number of crocked players in the side.

The reports indicated that the players feel the club’s physios are one of the reasons why their injury list has been so long this campaign.

It has been reported that there have been heated moments between players and the physiotherapy staff, with some fiery arguments breaking out as well as some tension with previous coach Ronald Koeman’s technical team and club medics.

New head coach Xavi Hernandez has already discussed this issue with the director of football Mateu Alemany with the former head of medical team Ricard Pruna, set to return to the club.

The reports come at a time where Barca confirmed that defender Eric Garcia wont be joining the Spanish squad after picking a calf strain with the club with both Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele expected to be out for some time.
