Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is hoping that Kieran Tierney will be fit to play against Watford in the Premier League on Sunday.

Arteta told Arsenal.com: “Kieran has been training the last two days, he is feeling much better so hopefully, he will be available.”

“Let’s see in the next two training sessions how he’s feeling, he has done bits with the team but he’s not fully trained yet, so in the next two days we will see how he is and where his fitness is.”

Barcelona duo Ousmane Dembele and Sergino Dest are set to miss the weekend’s clash against Celta Vigo through injuries.

“The first team player Sergiño Dest has lower back pain. He is unavailable for selection and his recovery will dictate his return,” a statement from the club read.

“For his part, the first team player Ousmane Dembélé has a strain in the semimembranosus muscle of his left hamstring. He is unavailable for selection and his recovery will dictate his return.”

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the club will miss the services of striker Roberto Firmino for some time due to a hamstring injury.

“Offensively we were incredibly clinical for the two goals… In the end, it’s 2-0, if Bobby [Firmino] hadn’t gone off with a hamstring [injury] everything would have been perfect.”
