Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his traveling squad for Tuesday night’s Champions League clash against Atalanta.
The Red Devils recorded a much-needed win in the Premier League on Saturday evening, which also reduced the piling pressure on the Norwegian.
The clash at the Gewiss Stadium precedes a mouth-watering derby this weekend at Old Trafford.
Paul Pogba, who’s serving a three-match ban in the Premier League will return to the team and is expected to lead the midfield.
Anthony Martial, who has also been out since the international break has joined the traveling contingent.
Victor Lindelof however misses out after sustaining a slight knock in training at Carrington on Monday.
“We want everyone to be raring to go and they are,” Solskjaer said ahead of the match.
“I think with Paul coming back in, we’ve got another option there to give them problems.”
Adding; “We are looking alright in the training session this morning. Everyone was on there. There were a couple of little twinges in the training session but I don’t think they will be major.
“I cannot give you the game-plan or the tactics but we have a squad to play many different ways. You can put any tactics out or system out, it was the players within it and how they executed the roles that was the difference on Saturday. The quality we played with was more important than the system.”
United are perched comfortably at the top of their group following back-to-back wins over Atalanta and Villarreal and will be looking to cement their group status.
