Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskajer says Scott McTominay was his best player against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Scotsman started in midfield alongside Fred as United went on to thrash Spurs 3-0 in North London thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, and Marcus Rashford.
According to Solskajer, McCotminay was the best footballer on the pitch.
He was Man of the Match. By a mile,” Ole said via United’s media.
“That’s the Scott we’ve seen many times before, you know. He’s had his injuries, he’s had an operation this season but today I thought he was absolutely brilliant. He won his tackles, drove forward, kept the ball simple, switched play, headed away a few set-plays, so [he was] absolutely top,” the Norwegian added about the 24-year-old star.
Up next is Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
